(Again.) This week I ordered 100 copies of Diaperman 13 from Island Print Services in BC, for roughly the same price as the twenty-two copies I would have gotten from Lulu, if they'd cut them properly. The reason for that is SIPS doesn't do one-print runs (there's a setup charge of $50 for runs lower than 100) and they don't do online stores and ordering the way Lulu does.
So it looks like from now on we'll publish both ways: Lulu, for folks in Connecticut who want to buy just one copy, and SIPS, so I can have physical copies at conventions for a much cheaper rate.
They'll be mailing me a proof copy shortly, and the run should be finished well before Michael leaves for Comic-Con in July. Between wedding plans, and what we went through prior to this year's Calgary Comic Expo, I wanted as much lead time as possible.
